HeartFelt Designs Gallery is located in Red Bluff, California, among beautiful views and a friendly, vibrant community. Our store boasts 10,000 square feet of alpaca and other natural fiber clothing, hats, scarves, and more. We also have a large variety of spinning and weaving supplies, yarns, yarn dyeing supplies, and the list goes on! Check out our online shop for products you can buy no matter where you live.
We provide classes and workshops for local folks who want to learn how to weave, spin, sew, knit, draw...You name it! Check our classes page for the most recent schedule and to sign up.
Irene Fuller, Owner-Partner
Irene has 15 years of ranching experience raising alpacas and cattle.
She has an extensive volunteer history including three years with the Sierra Clubs. She was named volunteer of the year in 1995. Irene is the Event Chair, 2001 to present, for “Fiber on the Foot”, a local educational event for alpacas and other fiber livestock. (This event also mans an educational booth at the fair and fund raises for “Operation Sock it to UM”. 100% of these funds send alpaca socks to our troops in harm's way.) From 2001 to present she has served as Fiber Arts Event Chair for AlpacaMania, an alpaca trade show, in Central Point Oregon. This event has been a competition and is now a sale of handmade alpaca items.
She is heavily involved with her local community, and is currently a board member for the Downtown Red Bluff Business Association and has served for 3 years. For the Downtown Business Association she chaired the new annual Veterans Appreciation Day and Walk of Gratitude. It was a successful event and was well received.
She has volunteered for the last 5 years as fiber educator for the Farm Bureau’s fourth grade farm day teaching the kids where their clothes come from and why fibers are twisted or felted. She has been a widow for 15 years and has one grown child.
Laurel Karsch, Owner-Partner
Laurel Karsch is a classical musician and often plays the viola with the Paradise Community Orchestra. A wedding present of two sheep in 1973 got her into spinning wool, and she has never stopped. She loves dyeing wool using natural dyes and weaving on both table and floor looms. Alpaca is her new favorite fiber.
Laurel is a trained Zati Weaving a Life weaving circle instructor and offers classes at HeartFelt Designs Gallery. She also owns a real estate business and is a broker and property manager. She has been married for 36 years and has two grown children.
